Several humanitarian and development stakeholders have been joining their efforts to develop a first version of a FSL environmental risk analysis matrix. The matrix shall provide operational recommendations to program designers and implementers on how to analyse and mitigate potential environmental harm when implementing FSL interventions.
The sub-working group of the Environmental Assessments WG held a workshop in English on Tuesday 16 April to review the quality and completeness of version 1 and to finalise the environmental risk analysis matrix for FSL activities.
