The purpose of this session is to highlight the importance of preparedness as a key entry point to implement environmental sustainability across humanitarian supply chains.
Expected outcomes: Provide examples of how the Logistics Cluster Preparedness and Environmental Sustainability teams have been collaborating to drive changes at a country level not only with humanitarian organisations but also with NDMO’s. Highlight the importance of incorporating environmental sustainability from the preparedness and planning stages to reduce the environmental impact across the supply chain.
