The mission of this working group, through its exchanges and sharing of experience, is to help member organisations take better account of the environment in their projects by using environmental assessment tools (in particular NEAT+ but also CEDRIG, EST, OIE, etc.). They have developed the MERA (Multi-sectoral Environmental Risks Analysis) matrix to help project managers, project coordinators and technical advisors to become aware of the environmental risks that their project may entail, and to quickly come up with recommendations to mitigate the negative environmental impact of their project.

This session will provide an opportunity to present the working group’s work to date and discuss its prospects with interested parties during the session!
