The aim of this session is to discuss about the roles and responsibilities of each Cluster when it comes to waste management generated during humanitarian emergencies. The panel members will share which mechanisms each Cluster has in place to reduce, reuse, repurpose, recycle, and safely manage waste and which actions can be implemented to coordinate and collaboratively find solutions for an effective management of waste in emergency operations.
The Global Logistics Cluster will lead the session with participation from relevant focal points and experts from other Cluster-lead agencies. Panelists TBC.
