The REH is the garant of the Statement of Commitment on Climate
by Humanitarian Organisations, which commits its signatories to the ecological and climate crisis we are facing. In order to be in line with international commitments to reduce emissions and global warming, thirteen NGOs have pledged to reduce emissions by 50% by 2030: ACTED, Action contre la Faim, ALIMA, CARE France, Électriciens Sans Frontières, le Gret, le Groupe URD, Handicap international, Médecins du Monde, Première Urgence Internationale, le Secours Islamique France, Solidarités International et Terre des hommes.
In November 2024, two new organisations signed the Declaration, joining the thirteen others in their commitment: the French Red Cross and Triangle Génération Humanitaire.
