The REH Forum returns to the subject of the impact of conflict on the environment. How do wars affect natural resources? How can we understand these impacts in a context where little data is available? How can we work to reduce environmental destruction in contexts of conflict? These are just some of the questions we’ll be tackling at this Forum!

- Exploring the links between conflict and the environment and the role of humanitarian NGOs, by Doug Weir of CEOBS
- Experiences in mine action and its environmental impact (explosives, mine clearance and the impact of the Derna floods), by Simon Elmont of Handicap International
