Published on 14 November 2023
This flagship report provides a neutral and reliable assessment of the current context of cash transfers in humanitarian aid. It is packed with analysis and reflection; it compiles the views of people involved in cash transfer policy and practice from around the world; it synthesises the research of the last three years; and it cross-references the findings with what the evidence tells us about the prospects of people affected by a crisis.
This chapter focuses on mitigating the impact of MTs on the climate and the environment. He presented various ways of making humanitarian action greener and measuring the environmental footprint of MTs.
